The late 19th-century red brick guard's house has a cruciform cross-shaped, symmetrical plan, one story with attic. The western façade connects with the park fence and the Red Park Gate to form a coherent ensemble. Later the use was changed to a residential building. The legend of the guard who worked in this house has been preserved to this day. "Once B.Oginskis wanted to check on the newly hired night guard to see how he was performing his duties. It was a dark autumn night. The Duke put on a tattered fur coat and the same hat and, after looking behind the fence of the park, started to climb over it. The night guard spotted the brave man and started whacking him with his cane until he fell off the fence. The guard, who was in a state of fright, made no attempt to stop. "Well, my dear fellow," cried the prince. - Stop it, I am your master! "The guard nearly fainted with fright when he saw the duke. He walked away and told him to come to the office at 9 o'clock the next morning. The night guard shivered all night. When he went, he was surprised that B. Oginskis met him with a smile, patted him on the shoulder, and gave 25 roubles, saying: "Thank you, you are a vigilant guard. Here's Catherine for your diligence". For the 25-ruble coin bore the image of the russian Empress Catherine. Well, the saying spread around the manor, "The prince was beaten up and got 'Catherine'".
