In the village of Spraudis, near the confluence of the Letaus and Paparstas rivers, there is a church of plastered masonry, rectangular in plan, with a tower and a narthex and sacristies (built in 1938-1939, designed by engineer S. Stulginskis). Its foundations were consecrated on 12 September 1938. Thanks to the care of the pastor of Rietavas, Juozapas Valaitis, the church was built on 12 November 1939 and the first Mass was celebrated there. During the pre-war, war and post-war years, the inhabitants of all the surrounding villages prayed in the church of Spraudis. The land was donated to the church by the farmers Marijona and Marijonas Turskiai. Both of them rest in the beautiful cemetery of this village, next to the first pastor of the church, Antanas Racevičius. The church has a valuable monument of the Holy Trinity from 1840. The church has a valuable painting of the Virgin Mary (now restored). In 2014, thanks to the care of Pastor Antanas Gutkauskas and the help of donors, the church interior was renovated. In 2021, thanks to the efforts of Jonas Šarkauskas, an honorary citizen of Rietavas, the Spraudis Church was renovated.
